WAVEONE GOLD is the latest generation of reciprocating file technology developed by DENTSPLY MAILLEFER in collaboration with four endodontic key opinion leaders (Drs. Kuttler, Pertot, Ruddle & Webber).  WAVEONE GOLD, as the successor of WAVEONE, keeps the same philosophy of simplicity as the first generation that was launched in 2011, with strong additional benefits that enhance the confidence level of dentists.
Same WAVEONE Philosophy:
• A single file (Primary size) for the majority of canals (~80%)*
• Same reciprocating motion (Compatible with X-Smart+ WAVEONE settings)
• Single patient use policy (Anti-sterilization ABS ring)
• A complete solution with dedicated obturation products, including variable tapered gutta-percha points specially molded to fit canals prepared with WAVEONE GOLD files
Additional benefits;
• The WAVEONE GOLD file covers a wider range of canal morphologies due to:
o enhanced flexibility in the GOLD-Wire*
o extended size range which incorporates a medium size file, tip diameter (035mm).  The large size file has a tip diameter of 045mm replacing the first generation WAVEONE large file.  All files now have a reduced taper to support the clinician to achieve minimally invasive dentistry
• Improved protection to the patient due to the file having a higher cyclic fatigue resistance and reduced screwing effect compared to standard rotary systems*
• Shorter shaping time due to having a higher cutting efficiency compared to the first generation of WAVEONE*
WAVEONE GOLD files are conveniently packaged in presterilized blister packs of 3 files in small, primary, medium and large sizes in lengths of 21, 25 and 31mm.
